Hot Art

At Gordon Studio Glassblowers, heat is the secret ingredient to creativity. A hot glass studio based in Red Hill, this ancient form of art uses molten glass made in the furnace from sand and other ingredients, heated up to 1300 degrees Celsius, to melt into clear glass. The talented family of artists create contemporary and engraved glass, handblown bottles, vases, an animal or two and spectacular indoor and outdoor sculptures using the art glass. Experience the wonder of the mastery unfold from their mezzanine viewing space before you fall in love with one of the glass pieces to take home.

Hot Cider

At Mock Red Hill, stay cosy in winter with their fireplace and hot mulled-cider. This family run business has so much charm, you won’t want to leave.  The Farmgate store and Cider Lounge stands proudly at the front of the property, adjacent to their fifty-year-old apple orchard, first planted in 1895.  Feel the history of the lounge as you settle in, once a packing shed that stored hundred of apple crates has been converted to their welcoming dining space. Relax, settle in, and relish the flavours and service with a friendly smile at this local icon.
