We’ve got Mother’s Day sorted!

You’ve planned a wonderful Mother’s Day for your mum; everything’s organised but you haven’t found the perfect present. You know she loved the toaster you gave her last year - she said it was the best present ever, but maybe she needs something different this year. Your mum surely deserves some relaxation time and the Mornington Peninsula is the perfect place, so why not give Mum a Mornington Peninsula experience this Mother’s Day?

Arthur’s Seat Lookout is the ideal place to start any Mornington Peninsula adventure, and we know Mum will be wowed by the views over Port Phillip. The best views are from a gondola aboard The Eagle so this is where an Arthur's Seat Eagle voucher is the perfect gift and if she looks up she may spot a real wedge-tailed eagle soaring overhead. Afterward, she could enjoy one of the many walks from the summit - Seawinds Gardens is nearby and offers plenty to delight; William Ricketts sculptures, an indigenous garden and more picturesque lookouts.

The small township of Flinders is surrounded by rolling farmland and a rugged coastline. Its quaint village charm and original shopfronts that align the main street make it the perfect place to explore.  Take part in a cooking class at Georgie Bass. Even if she is a great cook she would enjoy learning from the great chefs at Georgie Bass Cooking School and Café in one of their small group classes - and the best part is she gets to eat the results. If Mum is a chocaholic then the Death by Chocolate class would be perfect, or if she loves spices and sauces, then maybe the Asian Dumplings & Sauces class. By giving Mum a Georgie Bass voucher she can choose a class that suits her.

After all that cooking and eating an overnight stay at the Flinders Hotel would be a treat. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the hotel is a short walk to the shops, beach and pier. With Zigi’s Bar for a cocktail and tapas or a relaxed dinner at The Deck at Flinders Hotel there is plenty on offer for a great dining experience. Treat mum with a Flinders Hotel voucher.

And for Mums who love to eat and shop, check out Blue Mini Café in Rosebud. It is a great eatery or coffee stop with a retro feel and offers far more than a cafe. A delightful (and extensive) range of giftware is showcased throughout the café and a Blue Mini Café voucher can be used by your Mum for a meal or to purchase her very own Mother’s Day gift.

For a midweek luxury escape, Lakeside Villas at Crittenden Estate would surely delight Mum. In Winter she will love the wood fire and the spa bath; and a bottle of Crittenden Estate wine to be enjoyed on the balcony over the lake. Lakeside Villa vouchers offer two nights for 2 people including either a breakfast hamper, bottle of Crittenden Estate wine and wine tasting or the choice of a picnic box which can be enjoyed on the property or at one of the many local beaches or parks. Mum will be truly spoilt!

Still not sure? A Mornington Peninsula “Stay” or “Play” voucher allows Mum to choose her own adventure or overnight stay. Maybe she would like to take a winery tour, get up close to a koala at Moonlit Sanctuary, paddle a kayak, or perhaps ride an Electra Cruiser Bike with Bayplay.

Imagine the excitement your Mum will have planning her visit to the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. Her adventure awaits, all you need to do is head to our gift vouchers page and choose the right one for your special Mum.
