Last week, Mornington Peninsula Regional Tourism had the pleasure of hosting the Melbourne Convention Bureau as part of a famil program designed to shine a light on the region’s top-tier, internationally ready incentive experiences.
The visit is part of the lead-up to Australia Next 2025, Tourism Australia’s signature incentive showcase, which will be held this December in Melbourne. The program brings together key global incentive buyers to experience Australia’s premium destinations firsthand—to position Australia as one of the world’s most desirable incentive destinations.
We were thrilled to showcase how ready the Mornington Peninsula is to deliver world-class business and incentive experiences.
The Chief Executive Officer Angela Cleland said, “The Mornington Peninsula has come of age as a world-class incentive destination. From wellness and wine to luxury stays and immersive local experiences, our region offers the perfect blend of inspiration and sophistication. We’re proud to showcase what makes this place so special to a global audience and to be part of Australia’s story on the world stage.”
A Showcase of World-Class Experiences
Businesses representing the region showcased some of the region’s most remarkable offerings:

Green Olive at Red Hill – A working farm offering immersive paddock-to-plate experiences highlighting the Peninsula’s strong agritourism appeal.
Lancemore Lindenderry Red Hill – Nestled among vineyards and gardens, this elegant country estate delivers exceptional accommodation, event spaces, and fine food designed with the luxury traveller in mind.
InterContinental Sorrento Mornington Peninsula – A heritage property reimagined for luxury stays, boasting elevated accommodation and meeting spaces in the heart of the region’s most iconic seaside village.

Alba Thermal Springs & Spa – A luxurious, contemporary wellness retreat offering curated spa journeys ideal for incentive group itineraries.
Pt Leo Estate – A breathtaking combination of fine dining, sculpture, and premium wine set against sweeping coastal views—an iconic incentive experience.
Each stop on the itinerary was thoughtfully selected to highlight the quality and diversity of experiences on offer and the service standards and creative flexibility our region provides for international incentive buyers.
The Road to December
Australia Next 2025 will welcome global buyers to Melbourne later this year, and the Mornington Peninsula is proud to be part of the narrative that positions regional Victoria as a destination of choice for high-value incentive travel.
We are deeply grateful to our industry partners for their warmth, professionalism, and commitment to showcasing the best of our region. Their passion and product quality make it easy to tell a powerful story about what the Mornington Peninsula can deliver.
We look forward to continuing this journey and welcoming even more global guests to experience the Mornington Peninsula for themselves.
